The KPS BOM contract structure provides a fixed price design, construction and life-cycle power station maintenance solution for life of mine term. This allows KPS to commercially and technically focus on the delivery of a “Best Value” life-cycle generation solution. The KPS power station design, equipment selection, construction and maintenance philosophy is tailored to:

·  Maintain a diligent, continuous improvement program to achieve improved performance and best value cost structures for clients.

Traditionally, procuring on-site power generation at a new or existing mine site is achieved through the purchase of a power station via an EPC or EPCM contract arrangement. The EPC/EPCM supplier typically delivers a low capital cost solution to win the job, however without consideration of long term availability, reliability, maintenance and mine operating cost outcomes.

By “rolling up” the design, construction, power station availability and reliability, fuel efficiency performance and all maintenance into a single fixed price for life of mine, KPS is commercially compelled to ensure its clients are delivered an optimised 24/7 life of mine electricity supply solution.
